Where culturesmeet,communitygrows

The Deutsch-Guineischer Kulturverein e.V. connects Guinean culture and German society — through dialogue, solidarity, and shared commitment in Dortmund and Africa.

Two cultures.One community

The Deutsch-Guineischer Kulturverein e.V. (DGK e.V.) from Dortmund brings together the Guinean community and interested Germans. As an intercultural meeting place, we foster dialogue, the preservation of cultural roots, and social participation. Through local and international projects, we strengthen solidarity within a diverse urban society.

Under the leadership of Oumou Diallo (since February 2025), the board implements the association's goals transparently and collectively. Whether culture, integration, education, or development cooperation — the DGK e.V. is active wherever people from Guinea and Germany want to make a difference together.
